Depends of their type of coat (long, short, wire, curly, etcetera) is recommended to use one or other technique to groom them. BASIC HYGIENE:Basic hygiene consists in bath, dry, nails cutting, ears cleaning, paws cleaning, etcetera... and is made to all the dogs who come, regardless the type of coat they have. Furthermore, to the long and curly coat dogs we make a complete brushed and detangled, and to short hair we remove the maximum ammount of undercoat and "died" coat, and to shedding dogs we remove the necessary coat to minimize the coat they drop at home.
SCISSOR GROOMINGS:We can do all type of scissor groomings, according to the breed standard, or following the preferences of the customer. Poodles are our passion, and we groom them from the most classical style, to the more crative new asian styles. We will guide you with the style that better fits to your dog, and will try to avoid (as long as be possible) shave (whith the clipper) the dogs, because it is not good for the skin health. With the scissor grooming, is possible to make a practical and easy grooming for the owner, but even nice too.
HAND STRIPPING:Hand Stripping (in Wire Coat breeds) consists in remove the "died" coat that doesn't shed naturally, and therefore, it have to be removed by hands. In the past, it was done by blackberry bushes and shrubs, that do it natural while dogs walking in the forests, but nowadays, the best for their coat is being groomed with this technique. If you don't strip correctly and constantly this type of coat (fox terrier, schnauzer, dachshund, etcetera), the coat will turns soft and will loose their characteristic texture and colour. That's why we try to avoid (as long as be possible) to shave whith the clipper.
WEEKLY MAINTENANCE:There are many people who has not time to brush their dogs regularly, and keep the dogs untangled, but they want to keep their dogs with long coat. That's why we offer a maintenance service, with an adjusted price, doing all for you to keep your dog always beauty.
SKIN TREATMENTS, SPA AND COLOUR:There are many breeds that are prone to have skin problems, or simply have a very sensible skin. We offer treatments to relieve highly these problems. For the heaviest cases, when the vet prescribe therapeutic baths with special products (for allergies, dermatitis, etcetera) we can apply the treatments for you. We offer SPA treatments, with ozonized water, and with it, getting better penetration of the products in the skin, increeasing its efficiency. We offer colour enhacer products, for the doghs who loose their colour with the ageing.
REMOVING SEASONAL SHED:There are many dogs, that shed their coat near completely in the intermediate seasons (spring and autumn). Is important and beneficial to do a thorough shed removing, to aid to the right coat change. On the other hand, it will help too, to minimize the coat who let the dog in these seasons. The most known breeds are nordics and shepperds (i.e. husky, alaska malamute, german shepperd, rough collie, etcetera).
